Congress' budget reconciliation package is a golden opportunity

Climate alarms are blaring around the world and in our backyards due to severe heat waves, wildfires and floods. It's time to fight climate change with everything we've got.

Right now, our lawmakers have a chance to do just that. Congress is working on a historic budget reconciliation package that is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to pass important climate change legislation. This is our best shot at getting new bills that will manage public lands for people, not polluters, and unlock their full potential to tackle the climate crisis.
