In this role, she is responsible for planning and executing TWS’ events calendar, including high level and public events. Prior to this role, she was the Associate Director of the engagement team at the Atlantic Council, where she managed international and domestic events related to foreign affairs, energy, environment, and other policy subjects. She was the Director of Events at the New York League of Conservation Voters, where she was responsible for development, fundraising, and events management. Zeynep started her career at the World Water Council, where she supported the planning and execution of the 5th World Water Forum in Istanbul. She holds an M.S. in Sustainable Development from Lund University in Sweden and a B.Eng. from Anadolu University in Turkey. She loves going on hikes with her husband, two children and her dog. She and her family live in Arlington and enjoy travel, good food, and exploring the DC area.
