Sarah is a mission-driven development professional with more than 25 years of fundraising experience. Before joining TWS, Sarah was the director of development at a progressive K-8 school in Washington. She has raised dollars to support cutting-edge research on women and children at the Wellesley Centers for Women; to end domestic violence at the DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence; to protect and restore wildlife and wilderness in New England at Restore the North Woods; and, to fight income and wealth inequality at the Economic Policy Institute.
Sarah has an undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Management and Public Policy from the Heller School at Brandeis University. She loves hiking and reading novels and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
