Noe brings experience working in the western region of the United States, primarily in Colorado to reduce emissions and protect public lands. Through campaigns such as Clean Buses for Healthy Niño’s, Noe understands the complex challenges of overhauling state rules that govern the oil and gas industry and allowing low-income communities to advocate for themselves. Noe has worked to help Colorado pass some of the strongest methane rules in the country for oil and gas operations. Noe has worked to retire coal and natural gas plants. He supports legislation to mitigate and plug abandoned wells. Noe works to increase regulations to reduce emissions and improve public health. “I believe I’m continuing the work of my ancestors.”, says Noe.
In addition to working on emissions reductions and renewable energy. Noe fights to protect public land and increase access to outdoor recreation. In Colorado, we must meet our Outdoor Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion goals. With the support of Next 100 Colorado, Noe has supported efforts such as the Outdoor Equity Grant allowing young people of color to experience outdoor recreation. Noe’s journey has taken him from social justice advocate to climate advocate. From addressing mass incarceration of people of color to fighting for the right to breathe clean air.
Most recently, Noe has ventured into mental and emotional wellness. As a certified professional coach, Noe works with people to navigate through limiting beliefs. Using tools such as grounding exercises and deep listening, participants are finding themselves and experiencing their full essence. Noe has a vision of liberating people from their own cage of self-doubt and embodying the best version of themselves. Noe is a father, an advocate, a coach, and a leader. Noe is multifaceted and comes with experience that will support the organization's goals that help build power towards a clean economy and equitable future for all.
