Melissa Pewett is the Director of Council Relations.
Melissa provides support for the organization’s Governing Council, the policy-making and governing body for The Wilderness Society. She joined the team in February 2016.
Melissa has nearly 15 years of experience in event planning, business development and board management for nonprofit and charitable organizations.
Melissa graduated from University of Lynchburg with a degree in English and lives in her hometown of Washington, D.C. with her husband.
