Julie Shackett has been a human resources specialist for The Wilderness Society since December 2014.
She has over 8 years of H.R. experience and focuses on recruitment, benefits and on-boarding new employees at TWS. Born in Bristol, Connecticut, she has also lived in Orlando, Charleston, San Francisco, New York City and Raleigh. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and also achieved a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation in 2011. For fun, Julie enjoys playing softball, volunteering, hanging out with her dog Harley, and traveling as much as possible.
