Juan Pablo joined The Wilderness Society in 2023 as our High Meadows Fellow.
Juan Pablo recently graduated from Princeton, where he earned his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering along with two certificates in Environmental Studies and Material Science and Engineering. His senior thesis aimed to understand the factors that contributed to the flooding of Tula, Mexico, and explored strategies for preventing similar disasters by restoring Mexico City's natural hydrological system.
Juan Pablo is committed to working with underrepresented individuals to better address their needs and contribute to a more environmentally sustainable and equitable society. In his spare time, you can find him tending to his many house plants, cycling, or practicing his latte art.
