After many years of research with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Anne joined The Wilderness Society in 2004 and served as the Office Manager for the Northern Rockies Regional Office.

She has a Biology degree from Kansas State University, a teaching certificate from Montana State University (for high school biology) and has pursued a myriad of academic endeavors in fisheries through the University of Oregon and the University of Washington.

She is an avid hiker and an insatiable explorer, having traveled to places all over the world, including Guatemala (Peace Corps), Korea (English teacher), Spain (culture-vulture) and Nepal (trekking fiend).
