Amelia serves as our Senior Manager of Designation Campaigns.  She joined The Wilderness Society in 2023 as our Conservation Campaigns Manager.  In this role, Amelia works closely with local communities and coalition partners to identify opportunities to protect public lands through legislative and administrative conservation designations. She is passionate about conservation campaigns and movement-building strategies that lift up the needs, desires, and voices of local communities.

Amelia has a strong background working on place-based conservation and responsible energy development campaigns with a wide array of grassroots and grasstops stakeholders across the West.

Amelia lives in Portland, Oregon, and spends her time outside of work climbing in the Columbia River Gorge or visiting different coffee shops and record stores around the city on her bike.
