The cornerstone of Tiana’s work is developing and maintaining relationships with community members and stakeholders. She uses science and policy as tools to find enduring conservation solutions for communities and has ten years of experience in the conservation world. She holds an M.S. in Natural Resources Science from Washington State University and a B.S. in Biology from Western Washington University. A born and raised Washingtonian, Tiana calls this state her home but has experience working across the western U.S. When not at work, Tiana enjoys outdoor ventures, especially hiking and paddle boarding with her elderly black lab but is also happy curled up inside with a good book and a cup of tea.
