Sam serves as our Energy Campaign Specialist on the Agency Policy team.  

Prior to TWS, Sam served as a Senior Policy Analyst for conservation at the Center for American Progress. In her career, she has specialized in research and communications on equitable access to nature, national monuments, America's Arctic, fossil fuel accountability, and outdoor recreation. In addition to her role at TWS, she works part-time as a farmer’s market operator, interfacing between regional farmers and her local community to increase access to healthy produce. 

Sam earned a degree in social psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, amateur birding, and trying new coffee and tea shops and recipes.
