Rob joined The Wilderness Society in September 2013 as the Central Idaho Representative and works on land protection efforts with communities and local stakeholders in the state.
Prior to joining The Wilderness Society, Rob worked as wilderness manager for the Sierra National Forest and as executive director of the Selway-Bitterroot Frank Church Foundation, where he twice was awarded the Forest Service’s Bob Marshall Award for Champion of Wilderness Stewardship. When not working to find common ground on wilderness issues in Idaho, Rob can probably be found tooling around in his garden or wandering through the desert canyons of Idaho and Utah.
