Nicole is an experienced campaign and coalition architect with an extensive background in field organizing. Prior to joining The Wilderness Society, Nicole campaigned to phase out urban oil drilling in Los Angeles and throughout the state – focusing on engaging and supporting leaders in the communities most impacted by urban drilling.

Nicole received a degree in government and environmental science from Harvard University and also has a background in journalism and comedy writing. She is a published author and an avid puzzler. Nicole was born and raised in California and lives in the Los Angeles area.
