Mayra Mendez (she/her/hers) recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with an M.S. in Environmental Policy. She completed her undergraduate at Elmhurst University with a focus on Political Science and Urban Studies. She has worked in the higher education sector for many years and is transitioning to public land work with TWS.  In her spare times she loves hiking and enjoying the mountains.  She is originally from Illinois and enjoys any opportunity to get outside.
