Lulu Gephart serves as The Wilderness Society’s Deputy Vice President of Marketing and Digital Advocacy.

In her role, Lulu utilizes storytelling to spur members and constituents to take collective action to protect and preserve America’s wild lands.

Lulu comes to TWS from REI, where she was Manager of Social and Earned Media, and prior to that led search engine marketing efforts. Lulu played a key role in REI’s #OptOutside initiative, and led the development of REI’s 1440 Project, an innovative digital platform that convened the online community around a love of the outdoors.

Lulu holds a BA in International Relations and Economic Development from Tufts University and lives in Seattle, WA. She’s in constant pursuit of the perfect powder day and endless corn skiing on Washington’s plethora of volcanoes.
