Ashleigh joined The Wilderness Society in 2021. As the Operations Specialist, Ashleigh supports the Operations and Outreach team and the Giving and Impact team.
Ashleigh was a former professional ballet dancer with Ballet San Antonio which offered her opportunities to interact with donors often and appreciate the non-profit mission based work structure. Following her professional ballet career, she found herself exploring the Grand Tetons while working at the Teton Science Schools which renewed her appreciation for wild spaces and the need to preserve them. In her current role, she works closely with the Senior Vice President and the Deputy Vice President of Giving and Impact.
More recently, Ashleigh worked at Arcadia to provide an exceptional member experience and help members reduce their carbon footprint by supporting clean energy.
Ashleigh enjoys hiking, exploring, and finding great food spots. When not in the office, you can find Ashleigh walking throughout DC with her pup Milo or enjoying nice weather with friends.
