As the Director of Accounting, Jameya oversees the Accounting Department at The Wilderness Society.
Jameya (Jamie) Way is a Not-for-Profit Senior Management Accountant having served in roles as Controller and Director of Finance. Jamie was the Controller for over four years with the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital. Her career prior to Girl Scouts included accounting and consultancy roles working exclusively with Not-for-Profit clients for the last twenty years. Jamie began her career as a staff accountant working in CPA firms to advancing her skill set to Senior Management Accounting roles with various organizations. Jamie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in DC and MD.
