Matt Keller has been with TWS since 2003, working to advance protections for our national public lands. He most recently co-led a campaign that achieved permanent protection for over 5 million acres across the country through National Monument designations.
He currently is leading The Wilderness Society's work to defend our parks and public lands as well as the bedrock laws and policies that created them as well as maintain their integrity.
Matt earned his B.S. in Outdoor Education from Ohio University and an M.A. in Geography from the University of Wyoming. He lives adjacent to public lands in southwest Colorado and is an avid user of them.
