Adjacent to Mesa Verde National Park are Weber and Menefee Mountain. These scenic buttes offer wonderful opportunities for solitude, fine scenery and backcountry recreation. An abundance of wildlife, including migrating deer herds, big horn sheep, black bear, mountain lion, and bobcat frequent this 14,572-acre area.
