Ten miles southwest of Canon City is the lush canyon containing the perennial Grape Creek. This 44,376-acre area is rich with wildlife that uses the lush riparian zone. Grape Creek also has a large population of predators, including a high concentration of mountain lions and it supports a significant brown and rainbow trout fishery.
