The Demaree Canyon roadless area consists of 25,806 acres along the Book Cliff escarpment rising more than 2,500 ft. from the desert plains just north of Grand Junction. Breathtaking views of the La Sal Mountains in Utah can be seen from the higher reaches of this roadless area.
