Castle Peak is a 16,250-acre roadless area located eight miles north of Eagle and spans mid-elevation lands containing sagebrush, oakbrush, spruce-fir and aspen forests. The craggy peak is a unique reference point visible from I-70 between Wolcott and Gypsum.
