Only minutes from Grand Junction, the 21,060 acres of Bangs Canyon offer a great sense of remoteness and solitude. Perennial streams (streams that flow year-round) tumble through several different ecosystem types, from the upper reaches of the forested Uncompahgre Plateau to the salt brush desert on the south bank of the Gunnison River.
