Department of Interior Wilderness Assault:
Special Places at Risk

The Interior Department’s recent anti-wilderness actions threaten millions of acres of wilderness-character land throughout the West and Alaska. The following are just some of the spectacular places that are now at risk of being compromised. As part of the settlement, the Interior Department disowns the comprehensive 1999 statewide BLM re-inventory of Utah’s public lands. For a comprehensive list of those wilderness-quality lands, visit http://www.ut.blm.gov/wilderness/reinv-report.htm
