- Area of Special Interest: The Coronado National Forest contains an area of 30,000 roadless acres known as the Cañada del Oro, or “Canyon of Gold” roadless area. It contains over 40 miles of trails and the daunting Reef of Rocks, a climbing destination consisting of a two-mile long series of slabs and domes.
