  • The Friends of Browns Canyon, a local grassroots group based in Salida, Colorado, has been working to organize their local community in support of protecting Browns Canyon and to educate elected officials about the wilderness values of the area.
     
  • The Owyhee Initiative and the Future of the Owyhee-Bruneau Canyonlands

  • Launched over two years ago the Owyhee Initiative is an ambitious effort to resolve some long-standing public land issues in the Owyhee-Bruneau Canyonlands region.
